UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (formerly known as UGC-Human Resource Development Centre/UGC-Academic Staff College), Panjab University, Chandigarh established in October 1987, is one of the�111 such Centres�set up by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to provide in-service training to College and University lecturers.

Programmes for Faculty Members:

• NEP 2020 Orientation & Sensitization Programme
  For all regular and non regular Faculty & Research Scholars.

• Gurudakshata/Faculty Inducation Programme (FIP)
  For newly appointed teachers�within one year of their joining service.

• Refresher Course
  for teachers having more than 2 years of teaching experience. Refresher Courses are organized in specific disciplines.

• Short Term Programme/Faculty Development Programme
  STP/FDP for�focussed competency development.
